Hard to imagine with a fairly flat platform sole like these that they'd feel unstable to walk in but they did for me. I think because the strapping seemed to be there mainly for fashion and not for function. If it doesn't fit your foot and ankle as is, you can't really tighten much of anything down. Plus, because the sandal straps were so loose on me, the ankle part just hung in a sack of loops down low instead of going up my leg a little bit. So I lost the "fashion" part of the equation as well. Even tried one size smaller which seemed to be exactly the same fit. Great quality and beautiful leather dye color on the "rust", but had to return.I am so in love with the craftsmanship the color... These are gorgeous sandals. I getting another design... So that will be my third..Fabulous job guys.... I hope I get a big discount on my third pair it's in my basket...Cute sandle but not made for small ankles. The ankle closure is too big and strapps are too long. Top expensive not to fit appropriately. I had to send them back.Me encantaron!I really love sandals that have ankle straps. They make legs look extremely long. These are beautiful sandals, but, the place where your heel goes is very narrow. So narrow that I was worried that my heel would slip off. Also, the ankle straps with the snaps were way too long for my ankles with no way to shorten. Returning.I fell in love with these sandals and ordered them. When I received them I was amazed at the workmanship that went into making these. They are expensive, but they really are worth it. Very beautiful, very sexy, very well made. A 10 overall.I love these sandals!!! Just got back from vacation and I received compliments every time I worn them. I like the fit and the material they are made with. Color is called Africa, I wanted a nutreal color so I could wear them with different color outfits. I Think I need to get more colors.
